Director of Regulatory

VSI is seeking a Director of Regulatory to join our growing team. With strong continued investment in the internal development of new and increasingly complex mechanical products, this position will play a key role in the success of VSI’s business. If you have extensive medical device regulatory experience, we would love to hear from you as we build this critical part of our organization.
 
You’ll have the opportunity to grow and develop in your career as the Director of Regulatory by being responsible for:
 
  • Developing strategies for regulatory approval and certification of mechanical VSI products that are efficient and achievable in a timely manner
  • Monitoring changes in applicable standards and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance of corporate functions and products
  • Anticipating worldwide regulatory concerns, and integrating regulatory requirements into VSI quality system, product and process development, and manufacturing programs
  • Ensuring the mechanical Regulatory team is adequately staffed with highly motivated and skilled professionals who are met with challenging professional growth and development opportunities 
 
Minimum Qualifications:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
  • Minimum of seven years of recent, relevant medical device regulatory experience
  • Previous management experience within regulatory affairs
  • Well-rounded business background with a thorough understanding of regulated medical device development and compliance
  • Extensive domestic and international regulatory experience, including the development of strategies and preparation of 510k, IDE, and PMA submissions
