Sr. Post-Market Vigilance Specialist

VSI is seeking a Sr. Post-Market Vigilance Specialist to join our growing Post-Market Quality Assurance team. In this position you will have the opportunity to assist in centralizing VSI’s complaint reportability program, with the goal of ensuring that VSI’s product complaints are evaluated and reported in alignment with regulatory requirements. If you are well-versed in medical device complaint handling and reportability requirements, and you place quality first in all that you do, we would love to hear from you as we build this critical part of our organization. 
 
You’ll have the opportunity to grow and develop in your career as a Sr. Post-Market Vigilance Specialist by being responsible for:
 
  • Evaluating complaints to determine report-ability
  • Reporting Medical Device Reporting (MDR) eligible events to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other foreign government agencies as required
  • Providing post-market reporting and trending
  • Responding in a timely manner to requests for additional information from US and OUS regulatory agencies
  • Providing assistance in handling complaints to comply with current FDA and International reporting regulations
     
 
 
Minimum Qualifications:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree (five years of relevant experience considered in lieu of degree)
  • Five years of recent, relevant experience (10 years required without a Bachelor’s degree) in medical device reportability and complaint handling
  • Strong working knowledge of US, MDD and Canadian adverse event reporting requirements
