VSI is seeking an Account Manager with the ability to grow and foster customer relationships. If you can be best described as a “go-to person” for building and growing business, we would like to hear from you as we build this critical part of our organization.
You’ll have the opportunity to grow and develop in your career as an Account Manager by being responsible for:

  • Gaining market share by promoting, selling and servicing Vascular Solutions' products in Salt Lake City
  • Implementing a sales plan and achieve sales goals and objectives
  • Conducting product training on a physician/account basis
  • Providing on-call technical support
  • Conducting sales calls to promote, sell and service Vascular Solutions' products to invasive, interventional, and radiology accounts
  • Completing administrative reporting as assigned (i.e. expense reports, account profiles and analysis, daily planners and competitive updates)
  • Providing ongoing field intelligence reports on competitive activity, market changes, distribution, pricing as well as input on customer preferences and product features
  • Effectively utilizing sales collateral to support territory needs

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA or Nursing Degree (or related field)
  • Three years’ experience working in a Cardiac Cath lab or IR lab as a technologist or product specialist
  • Must currently reside within 20 miles of Salt Lake City 

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Aptitude for learning technical information with the ability to train and educate new, existing, and competitive customer/accounts to gain incremental business
  • Ability to advise customers on a continuing basis regarding product performance while maintaining a proficient level of product knowledge to be the "product expert"
  • Ability to teach and educate medical personnel, peers and technical support personnel
